By registering as a Music for Makers affiliate, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
To qualify for an affiliate account, you must either be a Music for Makers customer or newsletter subscriber. (It doesn’t really make sense for people who don’t our my music to recommend it.)
As a result, your application must be approved before you may start earning referral commissions. But don’t worry, it shouldn’t take more than a few days, max.
Registering as an affiliate does not make you an employee of Music for Makers or Polymath Digital, LLC. This is not a legally binding relationship, which means you may not take legal action against Music for Makers or Polymath Digital, LLC.
Note: We reserve the right to reject any affiliate application for any reason. You can find more information about why we might reject an application under “inappropriate use” below.
Commissions and getting paid
We pay affiliates in USD through PayPal in the first week of every month. The minimum payout balance is $50.
Referrals cannot be generated on your own purchases (even if you use a different email address). And we do not offer recurring referrals.
Commissions are subject to approval before being paid out.
How the referral process works
After someone clicks your unique referral link, a cookie is stored on their browser for 30 days. If the person makes a purchase on musicformakers.com within those 30 days, you will be awarded a 70% commission.
This generous referral period allows time for prospective customers to review the product and ask pre-sale questions.
You will not receive a commission if the customer makes a purchase past those 30 days (because the cookie will expire) or if the customer uses a different browser, where a cookie is not stored.
By becoming an affiliate, you agree to receive the occasional email from Music for Makers.
For example, we might want to follow up on your application with a few questions or share important news that may help you drive more referral traffic and, therefore, earn more money. We’ll never send spam.
