Royalty-Free Music License Terms

Let’s keep this short. Because creativity shouldn’t be complicated.

You may:

• Download and add my music to your projects for free. Of course, donations are a great way to show support.
• Use my music in commercial projects, such as creative works that clients pay you for, monetized YouTube videos, etc.
• Use my music as many times as you want, forever — this music license never expires.
• Tell other people how much you love Music for Makers. (Attribution isn’t required, but it’s always appreciated.)

You may not:

• Use my music for evil.*
• Alter (e.g., add vocals or other instruments) or sample the music and publish it as your own.
• Share or resell the music — you must incorporate it into a larger creative work, such as a video, podcast, or video game.
• Use my music to build a similar or competing service or to train an AI model.

*Forbidden uses include anything unlawful, abusive, threatening, obscene, libelous, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable and offensive; or anything that promotes violence, discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.
